The SEPA Mandate
The SEPA ‘Mandate’ is what provides the Creditor (party making the collection) with the authority to collect from a Debtor (the party paying) by SDD. With the Mandate in place, the Debtors bank can be instructed by the Creditor/Creditor Bank, to pay an SDD collection. Below is an example of a standard SEPA Mandate in portrait form, for a recurring (and not one-off) SDD collection, from an individual Debtor.
